Pastor Stan Collins started in ministry as a licensed minister in January 1989, where he served under Pastor Wayne A. Carter at the Mt Moriah Baptist Church. Upon his arrival in California in 1990, he served under the leadership of Bishop Alfred Smart of the Universal Truth Christian fellowship where he was ordained in 1998. In 2001, Pastor Collins and his family united with the West Palmdale Christian Church under the leadership of Dr. John H. Paxton where he served as Music Minister. In July of 2005 the Lord called Pastor Stan & his wife Kim to organize and found the Spirit & Truth Deliverance Tabernacle. Although they started in Pastor Stan's home, in September of that same year they moved to Golden Poppy School in Palmdale where they worshiped until June of 2009 when they moved into their new sanctuary currently located in Lancaster, CA. Pastor Stan is a people person and really enjoys his labor of love in the Lord.
